Open the Camtasia Recorder

* Tools – Options – Pause before starting capture. This is helpful to make sure you are ready before recording.

There is a drop down arrow that gives you the choice of recording:

• Fixed Region
• Selected Region
• Window
• Screen

I usually use Selected region and then you must drag the hand cursor around the region you want to record.

Press F9 to pause and start recording, you will know when you are recording when the green box corners flash, see below.
