Camtasia Recording Tips

It is important to record and then produce at the same size so everything is consistent. The best recording sizes are 320X240 (especially good for Ipod), 480X360 and 640X480.

If you are recording for a DVD than record at 720X480. You can also record the browser window by hiting F11 and then F11 to close. Don't forget to hide the recorder pop up so you are not recording the recorder!

Try to use all your effects within the [tag-tec]Camtasia Studio[/tag-tec]and not while recording. You cannot change what is recorded but you can channge effects within Studio. [tag-tec]Online video[/tag-tec] is hot so try out Camtasia but remember some basic stuff so you don't look like an ameteur with their thumb on the lens! Keep reading here for more

Stupid Camtasia Tricks!

This is a guy that has come up with a rather interesting way of presenting Camtasia. It is called the "[tag-tec]Stupid Camtasia Tricks[/tag-tec]" series. They are not really that stupid but the name gets your attention doesn't it? Stupid aside this is a good walk through of Camtasia and making a PowerPoint presentation.

This [tag-tec]online video[/tag-tec] also plugs a product called Ovation which is only useful if you are interested in PowerPoint. Notice: There is a ton of things you can do with Camtasia that have nothing to do with PowerPoint.

What do you think of these videos?[ev type="youtube" data="MEqrYQRGLus"][/ev]
